Shyness

We are not all the same. Some people seem to be 'out there' and in the thick of things all the time. Others seem to be alone most of the time and 'on the outer.' Most people are a mixture of the two.

Learning to relax

Getting out of financial trouble

I have a family friend that this past year has been in serious financial trouble. He is one of the most ambitious and intelligent people I know and I would have never imagined him getting in this kind of trouble.

His ambition may have been his downfall as he keeps shooting for the stars and has fallen short on some of his business ideas, which may have put him in a more vulnerable position when the economy turned south.

He is now living in debt and struggling to put food on the table for his wife and three young girls. He has had to live on credit cards for several months and they are all maxed out. I have never seen first-hand anyone in this much trouble. He learned his lesson the hard way and never wants to use payday loans again.

Family Bonding

Families are indeed a very important part of our lives. Spending time with our parents, children, sisters, brothers, and all the others is time well spent.

Choose a variety of activities, allowing each family member to contribute. Take the opportunity to learn new things about each other and expand your horizons as individuals and as a family.

I know from experience that it is hard to get the whole family together for any amount of time, but when you do find those rare moments make sure you make them memorable!

I used to modify a traditional movie night by showing home movies. My kids enjoy watching themselves on the big screen, making this as our fun family activity. Gather lots of pillows and blankets to create a comfortable viewing spot on the floor. Enjoy popcorn and other favorite movie snacks. Watching TV Shows on Rapidshare really made our day so special
